Made in America Auto Index List Released
The Ford Mustang 5.0-liter GT tops the list in an Annual Automotive Index which drives on the measure of U.S.- produced content in vehicles.
This is the second continuous year a Ford Motor Co. model has topped the Kogod(Kogod School of Business) Made in America Auto Index. The Ford Ranger was on the top of the list in 2020 yet tumbled to the sixteenth spot this year. this happened because the use of American-made components fells from 70% to 45% this year.

Made in America Auto Index provides information to help consumers make a decision when they are purchasing a vehicle. Kogod is trying to make the buyer more knowledgeable about their purchases and understand the impact that these purchases have on the US economy.

Other Cars On The Auto Index
In the 2nd spot is the Chevy Corvette Stingray. In the third position is the Tesla Model 3. Newly released Ford Bronco makes it to the fourth position. 5th position is blocked by total 4 cars: Ford’s Canyon and Colorado Pickups, and Tesla’s Model S and Y. The diesel engine versions of the Canyon and Colorado come in at no. 22 because of an unfamiliar sourced (Thailand) engine.
Jeep places three models of the well known Cherokee at no. 6, while the automatic transmission adaptation of the Chevy Camaro comes in at no. 7 (the manual transmission-prepared Camaro comes in at no. 17 because of an foreign sourced transmission from Mexico). The Ford F-150 and the Tesla Model X offer the no. 8 spot in the positioning. Honda places four vehicles in the no. 9 detect—the Ridgeline, Odyssey, Pilot, and Passport. Another pickup, the Ram 1500, shares the tenth place with two additional Mustangs the automatic 5.0 liter and the 2.3 liter Ecoboost variant. The top on the list Mustang flaunts 88.5 percent homegrown substance contrasted with 76% for the tenth positioned vehicles.
