Mahindra Born EV Interior Teased – The EV To Get Dual Screen Setup Like XUV700

Mahindra & Mahindra plans to reveal three new electric vehicles in July of this year, and the latest teaser shows off the Interior. Another video teaser for Mahindra & Mahindra’s next Born EV has been released. The new one provides us a look inside one of these forthcoming electric vehicles, and dialing up the light reveals a lot of interesting things. For the instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen, this future electric SUV has an XUV700-style joint-housing configuration.

Aside from that, the steering wheel appears to be a two-spoke, octagonal-shaped multi-functional item. Interestingly, LEDs appear to run over the dashboard, center console, and driver-side door panel, isolating the driving seat in a cockpit-like approach. In the center console, we also see a bulky lever and a rotary knob, both of which are presumably driven selector controls.

We anticipate that the interiors of all three Born EVs will be similar, with small variations here and there. We also get a quick look at the outside of one of these EVs from a top-down perspective, with bright LED DRLs and side rear-view cameras visible. Mahindra Advanced Design Europe, the company’s worldwide design center in the United Kingdom, will create these next electric SUVs.

In July 2022, these electric SUVs will be unveiled as a concept. The production versions of Mahindra Born EVs were originally expected to come between 2025 and 2026, but given the vigorous push for EV adoption in the Indian vehicle market, they will most certainly arrive sooner. M&M’s ‘Born EV’ platform is designed specifically for electric vehicles. As a result, these upcoming EVs will not share a platform with the company’s existing ICE vehicles. One of these forthcoming EVs will be a coupe-style SUV, as previously teased, and is believed to be called the ‘XUV900.’

M&M plans to bring a few other electric cars into our market, in addition to Born EVs. The E-KUV100 will most certainly be released in India soon, followed by the E-XUV300 (or XUV400, the name hasn’t been verified yet). The XUV700 will also be available in a hybrid or electric variant, according to the manufacturer.
