On June 27, the much-anticipated Mahindra Scorpio N 2022 will be unveiled in our market. The new Scorpio will be labelled with the suffix “N” and sold alongside the current model. The new model’s exterior pictures have already been released by Mahindra. Interior photos of the SUV have already been posted online.
The owner manual for the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N has been leaked online before of the official unveiling. The size, interior features, design components, and powertrain options are all revealed in the owner’s manual. The Scorpio N is much larger than the Scorpio Classic in terms of length, width, and height.

The new Mahindra Scorpio N has a length of 4,662mm, a width of 1,917mm, a height of 1,870mm, and a wheelbase of 2,750mm. The SUV has roughly 205mm of ground clearance. The new model is approximately 206mm longer, 97mm broader, and 125mm shorter than the present variant. In fact, the wheelbase has been extended by 70 millimetres. The redesigned Scorpio-N is 33mm shorter in length, 27mm wider, and 115mm taller than the XUV700. Both variants had a 2,750mm wheelbase.
When compared to the Tata Safari, the Mahindra Scorpio N has somewhat larger dimensions in 2022. The Safari is 1mm longer, 23mm broader, and 84mm taller. In fact, the SUV’s wheelbase is 9mm longer.

Interior Details
The new Scorpio-cabin N’s details are also revealed in the owner’s manual. The new model has a lot of features and high-end technology that the existing model doesn’t have. It has a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with AdrenoX AI, connected car technology, and a semi-digital instrument console, among other features.
Dual-zone climate control, air vents for all three rows, an electric sunroof, wireless charger, cruise control, and other conveniences are included in the SUV. ADAS functions, which are available on the XUV700, will not be available on the SUV. The new Scorpio-N will include front-facing third-row seats instead of the side-facing bench seats found in the current model, thanks to its longer wheelbase and dimensions. The new model will be offered in 6 – and 7-seat layouts with former having captain seats in the second-row.
2022 Mahindra Scorpio N
As per leaked info, the new Scorpio will come with a part-time 4×4 system. It won’t get the full-time 4X4 system. The SUV will be offered two engine options – a 2.2L mHawk turbo diesel and a 2.0L mStallion petrol. The diesel engine offers two states of tunes – 172bhp/370Nm with manual and 172bhp/400Nm with automatic gearbox. The 2019 Mahindra Scorpio-diesel N’s version will be the only one having an AWD system. The transfer case has four high and four low gear ratios. These modes are controlled by buttons on either side of a rotary knob with terrain selection options for the 4Xplore system.
Rough Road, Snow, Mud, and Water are the four modes available on the new Mahindra Scorpio-4Xplore. N’s Mahindra has introduced a manual locking rear differential to increase off-roading capabilities.
