Mahindra Scorpio N First Accident

It is only natural that the vehicles on the roads would eventually end up in a tough spot every now and then and this time it is the Mahindra Scorpio N.

The first Mahindra Scorpio N accident has been reported following the price revelation. The SUV was recently released and garnered positive feedback. It boasts all of the latest features, powertrains, and technologies, as well as the most advanced safety equipment. However, the GNCAP has not yet tested it. However, based on previous Mahindra goods, it is safe to anticipate that it will pass the test with flying colours. For now, let us see how well it performed in this unfortunate incident.

First Accident of Mahindra Scorpio N

This video has been posted on YouTube by Prateek Singh. He posts such content to raise awareness regarding the importance of buying cars with higher safety ratings. As per the information in this video, the driver of the Scorpio was test driving the vehicle in West Bengal. At the traffic lights, the driver was unable to apply brakes timely and pressed the accelerator instead. The SUV ended up hitting a Maruti Dzire from the back. Thankfully the speed was not too high to cause injury to anyone.

In terms of damage, the Dzire’s tail end has suffered some impact at the taillamps, bumper, boot, and back door. It appears to be extensive damage. The Scorpio N, on the other hand, received just minor damage, with the exception of a bruised bumper. This suggests that the Scorpio N may likewise receive a good safety rating if the GNCAP decides to test it.

Mahindra Scorpio N Specification

The new Scorpio N comes with a 2.0-litre mStallion direct-injection turbo petrol engine that produces 200 PS and 380 Nm, a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 132 PS / 300 Nm in lower variant, and a massive 175 PS / 400 Nm of peak power and torque on higher variants. There are manual and automatic transmission options to choose from along with the 4×4 drivetrain. The prices of the automatic and 4×4 versions will be revealed later this month while the rest of the lineup ranges between Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh, ex-showroom. These are introductory prices and will be only applicable for the first 25,000 bookings.
