Mahindra Delivers 14,000 Units Of The XUV700
Mahindra stated in October of last year that it would deliver 14,000 units of the new Mahindra XUV700 by January, and the Indian carmaker has fulfilled its word. Despite manufacturing being halted owing to the ongoing semiconductor crisis, the business delivered 14,000 units of the XUV700 by January 26, 2022. By Diwali, the business had received over 70,000 orders for the new Mahindra XUV700 and had accelerated manufacturing to fulfil the demand. Mahindra had said that the delivery dates were set using an algorithm based methodology in collaboration with one of the top three global consulting firms.

The business got an astonishing 25,000 orders for the 2021 Mahindra XUV700 in just 57 minutes after opening bookings for the next Mahindra SUV on October 7, 2021. The next day, on October 8, 2021, the firm got over 25,000 bookings in only two hours after opening the booking window, passing the 50,000 bookings mark in just two days and generating a revenue of over Rs. 10,000 crore. The quantity of bookings at the city and dealer level, the ratio of online and dealer counter bookings, and variant-level manufacturing feasibility based on supply chain restrictions all had a role in deliveries. Customers were informed of the delivery schedules for both petrol and diesel models by their individual dealerships.
