Meet Royal Enfield X350 Featuring KTM Duke 390 Suspension – Photos

Key Highlights

Haldankar Customs, based in Mumbai, formerly transformed the Royal Enfield Thunderbird’s cruiser-friendly 350cc model into a stylish streetfighter known as the Street X350. Images of this modified motorcycle have been circulating on the internet since that day.

  • Modification Done by Haldankar Customs
  • Donor Bike – Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350
  • Modification Cost – INR 1,60,000 (Approx.)
  • Time Needed for Modification – 3 Months

The typical Royal Enfield engine and the silver side panel below the rider’s seat are the only design traits that identify it as a Thunderbird 350. Haldankar Customs’ customisation is visually beautiful and caters to the performance-biking market.

On this customised model, the stock Thunderbird 350’s rounder fuel tank has been replaced with a streetfighter-style chiselled fuel tank. Six LED lights are contained inside a matte-black circular headlight shell on the Street X350’s front end.

Modifiers have also added an extra light near the instrument console to the bike. Haldankar Customs has also fitted the motorcycle with LED indicators and a fibre-based front fender, as well as replacing the front telescopic forks with a sport-oriented KTM Duke 390 USD (Upside Down) suspension.

The stock model’s spoke wheels have been changed with black alloy wheels by Haldankar Customs. The single-piece bespoke seat appears to be fairly comfy, while the pillion seat appears to be a floating part with no panels or frame around it. The brake light and turn indicators, on the other hand, have been installed just below it.

The rear tyre hugger is mounted directly above the steering wheel, imitating the Yamaha FZ design while keeping the rider and pillion dirt-free on all terrains. On the Royal Enfield Thunderbird Street X350, the mods even replaced the rear disc brake with a petal-type disc.

On this altered Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350, the swingarm now houses a 180-section rear wheel. A semi-digital instrument dashboard has been installed between the bike’s sporty handlebars.

The modified motorcycle is powered by the same 346cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 19.8HP and 28Nm of peak torque. The engine is still linked to a 5-speed transmission. The Street X350 is a better performer in every way thanks to its unique exhaust and lower total weight.
