Mercedes-Benz has decided to go full electric by 2030, including AMG division. It is updated with a, AMG-specific electric performance motor mounted on each axle. For higher rotational speeds within the unit, the motors feature new windings, stronger currents and new actuation via inverters. It is available in two driving modes, namely Sport and Sport+ driving modes

The EQS is offered with a twin-motor set-up producing up to 751hp. Notably it has a range of 326 to 360 km. It is equipped with a 107.8kWh lithium-ion battery with a 400V architecture. Mercedes AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ has a top speed limited to 220 Km/h on standard and 250 Km/h on Dynamic Plus variants. It can go from 0-100kph in just 3.4sec.

Design And Features

It is indeed available in All Wheel Drive. The new EQS is aerodynamic efficient. It matches the 0.23 coefficient drag of the regular EQS. The company has reworked on rear diffuser, side air intakes and a bigger rear spoiler. One can choose from 21-inch or 22-inch wheels, with high-performance AMG brakes as standard. The battery can be charged at speeds of up to 200kW using a fast charger.

Moreover the company has developed “Sound Experience” that comes with Authentic and Performance modes. It uses special speakers, shakers and a sound generator to produce the right noises for futuristic performance driving.
