Mercedes India is all set to launch 2 new models to Indian Market namely Mercedes Benz AMG 63S and Mercedes Benz AMG E 53. By launching this new model to India will strengthen the AMG lineup in-country. And the AMG E 53 will be the performance vehicle that will focus on improving the performance vehicle lineup.
The AMG lineup by Mercedes targets the driving enthusiast and the new car is also expected to do so. The new Mercedes AMG 63s and E 53 will be priced premium but features and capabilities will be up to the mark. The cars will be expected to target a niche of luxury performance car buying customers. These cars will surely attract driving enthusiasts.

Mercedes AMG E63S Engine
The AMG E 63S will employ a 4-liter V8 Biturbo engine which is able to generate the max power output of 603 hp and a massive 850Nm of torque. This power is sufficient to get the car from stand to 100kmph in just 3.3 seconds. The engine will be mated to the automatic gearbox with an all-wheel-drive system. Mercedes AMG E 53 Engine
The all-new AMG E 53 will get a 3-liter six-cylinder engine which comes with Mercedes’ EQ Boost mild hybrid system. The engine itself generates the maximum power of 430Bhp to offer and has a peak torque of 520Nm. The engine can take the car from 0-100 kmph in 4.4 seconds. Transmission duties are carried out by a nine-speed gearbox.
Design and Dimensions
Starting from the front the gets an AMG-specific radiator grille and a more prominent Logo. It will further get 20-inch five-twin-spoke alloy wheels as standard and 19-inch 10-spoke light-alloy-wheels as an option.

Features
The interior of the car gets the latest MBUX infotainment system and digital instrument display. The display features unique AMG display options. The new AMG also gets a twin-spoke AMG Performance steering wheel and paddle shifters. The new feature list also includes a ‘hands on’ sensor which activates emergency brake assist if it detected that the driver does not have their hands on the wheel.
Prices
Prices for both the cars will be disclosed on the 15th of July. But we expect the car prices to be around Rs.1.5 crore. These cars will be part of the 15 new or updated cars that are proposed by Mercedes in 2021. Recently launched S-Class and the GLS Maybach are also part of it.
