Car Sales Report January 2022
In January 2022, MG Motor India sold 4,306 vehicles, up 20% from the same month the previous year, despite supply being hampered by the ongoing worldwide semiconductor scarcity, which resulted in lower manufacturing. The firm has seen a significant increase in sales of 69 percent since December 2021. Nonetheless, MG Motor feels that the situation will improve in the next months, since the MG Astor received a strong reaction, while Hector and Gloster continue to perform well in their respective niches.
MG Upcoming Cars
The MG ZS EV has already been on the Indian market for two years and continues to be a success for the firm, according to the company. The business has sold over 4,000 Units of its flagship electric SUV to date, with rumours of a facelifted version on the way soon. Additionally, the firm is expanding its reach by expanding charging infrastructure and incorporating new ecosystem features, such as battery after-life applications and recycling.
Last month, MG Motor, which is owned by SAIC, announced a cooperation with Attero as it recycled its first electric vehicle battery. The metal extracts and numerous other commodities from the recycling process might be used to manufacture new batteries as a result of this.
