MINI has launched MINI 3-Door Hatch, MINI Convertible, and MINI John Cooper Works Hatch
MINI has today announced the launch of 3 new cars in the Indian market MINI 3-Door Hatch, MINI Convertible, and MINI John Cooper Works Hatch. The range of cars will be petrol engines only and also Completely Built-up Units (CBUs). And the company has also started online bookings at dealerships and online mode.
New MINI Cars Lineup Looks And Design
The MINI 3-Door Hatch and the MINI Convertible are made available in 4 color options: Rooftop Grey metallic, Island Blue metallic, Enigmatic Black, and Zesty Yellow. For more the company also has a Piano Black color option on the exterior with high gloss finished exterior elements.
The MINI cars comes with a 17inch alloy wheel option as standard and The MINI John Cooper Works Hatch gets an 18-inch wheels.
The exterior surrounds & inner parts of the headlights and taillights, door handles, fuel filler cap, front grille surround and the Mini Emblem in the front & rear are part of the piano black exterior package. The John Cooper Works side scuttles and air intake trim in carbon fiber also add to the exterior styling of the car.
New MINI Cooper Engine and Transmission
The MINI 3-Door Hatch and MINI Convertible use the same 2-liter 4-cylinder petrol Twin Power Turbo engine. This engine is capable of putting out 190Bhp and 280 Nm of torque. The Engine comes with a 7-Speed Double Clutch Steptronic Transmission.
On the other side MINI, John Cooper Works Hatch gets a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder Twin Power Turbo engine pushing out 231Bhp/170 kW of power and a 320 Nm peak torque. This engine makes the car faster than the 3-door and convertible. The John Cooper Hatch can sprint 0-100km in just 6.1sec. it also gets paddle shifters for a sportier driving experience.
New Mini Cooper Safety And Features
The range of cars gets front passenger airbags, 3-Point Seat Belts, Dynamic Stability Control, Brake Assist, Crash Sensor, Anti-lock Braking System, Cornering Brake Control, Run-flat tires, and Rear-View Camera as standard. And the car also gets Rollover Protection System.
The infotainment features include Apple CarPlay, MINI Navigation System , Radio MINI Visual Boost with touch functionality , USB interface and Harman Kardon Hi-Fi Audio System, featuring 12 high performance speakers and an eight-channel digital amplifier.

The all-new MINI 3-Door Hatch is priced at ₹38,00,000 (ex-showroom), the all-new MINI Convertible is priced at ₹44,00,000 (ex-showroom), and the all-new MINI John Cooper Works Hatch costs ₹45,50,000 (ex-showroom).
