1. Omni Off-Road (Gymni) 4X4

The transformation job is done by Indi Grage and Holyshift. It’s also one of the first Omnis to undergo such drastic changes. It went viral almost immediately after it was made public. The Gymni is the name given to this vehicle by its makers.

It now sits much higher than before because of the off-road spec chunky tyres. It also gets a 4X4 system with a rear axle from the Gypsy. The Gymni is covered with an external roll cage along with a luggage rack on the roof. The front bumper is completely modified with LED projector headlamps, skid plate and auxiliary lamps. In fact, the rear doors and the windows are sealed using metal sheets to give it rough look.

The job done by Carbon Automotive shows the Maruti Suzuki Omni in a completely different form. The automobile has blacked-out projector headlamps, and the LED turn indicators are built into the bumper. The Omni’s factory bumper has been replaced with new bespoke components.

With the aftermarket alloys and protruding exhaust pipes, the side profile stands out. The sliding doors have a similar appearance to the original design. The interiors are also personalised. The Gangster Omni is outfitted with crimson upholstery and black windows and doors.

3. Omni Low Rider

Nikhil Kumar of Kerela, India, owns this wacky-looking customised Omni. The Project Stance van is the name given to this vehicle. The front bumper droops into a lip spoiler that is almost touching the ground. The headlamps and fog lamps on this Omni are based on the Mustang LED DRLs.

With the deep dish alloy wheels and body skirting, even the side profile has a low rider impression. The metamorphosis of the sliding doors into gullwing doors, however, is what draws the eye. Aftermarket LED tail lamps are also installed on the back bumper. All of the interiors are black, and the exterior has been coated in bespoke colours.

4. Omni Buggy!

Farid, who comes from a family that has been in the car modification business for years, owns and modifies this much-loved Buggy. According to Bharat Autos, the alteration and automobile cost him roughly Rs. 4.50 lakhs to build from the ground up. Nothing is the same except for the Omni’s mechanical structure.

You are free to get inside and take a seat in the open car because it is devoid of any doors. The dashboard is handcrafted, including the aggressive racing steering wheel. The instrument cluster is identical to that of the original Omni, although it is now in the centre.
