After Ford’s 1964 Mustang, nearly all North American automakers started making muscle cars. Models like the Mustang and Camaro have been extremely popular worldwide in the last ten years. The late 1980s and early 1990s saw the beginning of the Japanese sports car industry’s boom. Japanese sports vehicles are renowned for their strong performance despite having less power.

The Shelby GT350R is a high-strung muscle car designed for the track. The Ford Voodoo engine produces 429 lb-ft of torque and 526 horsepower. The Japanese-built car has a 3.8-second 0-60 mph acceleration time. Thanks to the aerodynamically superior bigger splitter and the carbon fibre rear wing, the GT350R distinguishes itself from the GT350 by producing greater downforce.

2. Dodge Challenger SRT Demon – $84,995

The Camaro ZL1 sports one of the best steering systems that is precise and communicative, unlike other muscle cars. The top of the line 1LE is a track-oriented package with improved handling. The Camaro has a 0-60 mph pace of 3.4 seconds, and its most current lap time at the Nürburgring is quicker than the previous Porsche 911 997 GT2 RS.

3. Hennessey Performance Camaro ZL1 HPE850 – $89,645

The fifth and final version of the Dodge Viper VX included the Dodge Viper ACR. The ACR model has a brand-new, aerodynamic carbon fibre body kit with a fixed rear wing and front splitter. It has a top speed of 206 mph and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds.

7. Shelby Mustang GT500 Super Snake Speedster – $138,780

The 2021 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Speedster is the first roadster produced by Shelby Automobiles. Only 25 open-top Mustangs were offered, out of the 98 coupes, and its distinctive style immediately distinguishes it. It has a supercharged Coyote V8 engine that has been tuned to produce 825 horsepower when run on octane fuel.

8. Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Jailbreak – $82,675

One of the quickest and most potent sedans with a five-figure price tag is the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.
