New Tata Nexon 2024 Spied Testing Ahead Of Launch In 2024

New Tata Nexon 2024 Spied Testing Ahead Of Launch In 2024

Tata Nexon, the country’s best-selling subcompact SUV, has been observed testing on public roads for the first time. The test mule spotted during testing was wrapped in camouflage on all of its body panels, with only the vital air vents showing. The wheels of the next Nexon were also wrapped in camouflage. According to Cardekho, the model will most likely be available for purchase in 2024.

The spy images of the 2024 Nexon show that the model will most likely keep its present profile and platform while receiving a big design upgrade. According to rumours, the all-new Nexon will use the brand’s newest design language, which was debuted at the 2023 Auto Show with the impending coupe-styled SUV Curvv and Seltos and Creta competition Sierra.

The front of the subcompact SUV might include the split headlight configuration seen on the Curvv at the fair. The Nexon will be designed similarly to the Harrier and Safari twins, with the LED DRL positioned above and the headlights put slightly above where the foglamps would be. Because of the camouflage, nothing is clearly seen in the image.

Moving on, not much appears to have changed, and as previously said, the overall shape of the outgoing model will be preserved, as will the wheelbase. At the time, the only thing certain about the alterations on the side are the new alloy wheels. They were camouflaged in the same way as the body of the test mule. Meanwhile, the raised boot lip below the rear windscreen suggests that the car might gain a connecting strip between the LED taillamps on both ends.

The spy images did not reveal much about the inside, but it is expected that the next model would include an entirely new dashboard layout. It might also gain a larger infotainment screen, linked vehicle technology, a larger and more sophisticated driver display, and some other creature comforts and amenities.

Meanwhile, in terms of drivetrain alternatives, the corporation may offer some new powerplants with the next Nexon internal combustion engined vehicle. The present diesel engine is expected to be retained in the new SUV, along with the current EV powertrain option. The brand’s incorporation of the new 1.2 TGDi petrol powertrain will be novel.

According to recent reports, the business intends to use the new 1.2L TGDi petrol engine in the Nexon to create the country’s most powerful subcompact SUV. According to the report, the new engine will be a 1198 cc three-cylinder turbocharged unit capable of producing 125 PS at 5000 rpm. The torque output of this engine will be much more impressive. This new engine will produce 225 Nm of torque between 1700 and 3500 rpm.

The future subcompact SUV will most likely be released in 2024, following the release of the Curvv coupe SUV. Pricing should be somewhat higher than the existing models’ prices of Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 14.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
