Pagani C10 Hypercar Spied On The Street Showing More Design Details

We’re on the verge of seeing Pagani’s next hypercar. The official premiere is set for September, but we’re already getting a taste of what to expect. Instagram user @ Tim 2712 spotted a C10 prototype on the streets of Italy and snapped some photos.

He kindly shared high-resolution images with Motor1.com, which we have included in the photo gallery below. It’s only the second time we’ve seen a C10 prototype, but there’s a lot more to see this time around compared to our first look in May.

Whereas the C10’s rear engine cover was previously heavily camouflaged, it is now clear. As a result, we can see how low and flat the back deck is. The iconic Pagani quad-exhaust outlet is almost entirely above it, capped by a thin spoiler with a slight arc connecting the taillight housings. The engine tunnel, which we know conceals a V12 beneath it, breaks up the expanse between the arched rear fenders. Pagani has already confirmed that the 6.0-liter V12 will return, possibly with up to 830 horsepower.

Our view this time is limited to the C10’s backside, but it provides a good perspective of the front wheel arches, which stand out against the low, flat bodywork. However, we suspect that not all camouflaged panels have been removed. The area around the large front fender vents, as well as the doors on this test vehicle, appear suspiciously flat. Pagani is known for its love of curves in its supercars, and the official teaser from early May certainly suggests more flair along the C10’s side than what we see here.

The teaser also revealed a release date for the C10. Everything will be revealed on September 12, including the aerodynamic design and name of this all-new hypercar. C10 is the codename, but we haven’t heard anything about what it might be called.
