Peugeot Inception Concept Teased

Peugeot CEO Linda Jackson announced plans to introduce a new idea for the 2022 Paris Motor Show, which was held last month. The showcar, Inception, will represent “the future generation of e-native automobiles.” In other words, it will provide a glimpse into the future of vehicles created exclusively as electric vehicles from the start. The mysterious EV will be unveiled on January 5, 2023, at CES, according to a statement released by the business sporting the lion badge today.

The Inception idea will make its debut at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Exhibition, not at a traditional vehicle show or other special event. Yes, Peugeot announced what appears to be an intriguing automobile at a tech-focused event staged in Las Vegas. Since the automaker’s parent company Stellantis has chosen to concentrate on already-existing brands that are active in North America, don’t get too excited about the automaker’s comeback to the US.

A Stellantis spokesperson told Automotive News in March 2021 that the company’s “new context, with a strong presence on the US market, leads us to focus on existing brands.” After Peugeot left the US in 1991, there had been plans to bring it back, but when FCA and PSA merged to form Stellantis, those plans were abandoned.

Regarding the Inception concept, we’ve been informed that it will show a renovated cabin with the most recent i-Cockpit. Peugeot is both “reinterpreting driving motions” and “totally rebuilding the interior space.” The CES-bound concept car will offer a look into the design of the future while maintaining its “luminous three-claw signatures” and “feline stance.” Additionally, Inception will be the first game to use next-gen features and technologies.

Peugeot has a stellar reputation for creating stunning concept vehicles, so we have every confidence the 2023 Inception will likewise be stunning. On Thursday, January 5, beginning at 23:00 CET, the official unveiling will be broadcast live from CES. The following day at 9 AM CET, there will be a digital presentation.
