Porsche India Has Released Its Sales Numbers For 2021

Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director for Porsche India, commented on the company’s sales success, saying that demand for the brand’s luxury model range was robust, with good interest across all areas that looks set to continue into 2022. “, he explained, “Following a challenging first half of the year due to the impact of the pandemic on people’s lives and businesses, the retail performance from July to December established a new record for us. Model Wise Sales Report

Porsche’s best-selling model, the Macan SUV, sold 187 units in 2021, the model’s highest-ever year sales in the country. Last year, the Macan alone accounted for 39% of the company’s entire revenues. Simultaneously, the Cayenne, the brand’s other SUV, became the second most popular Porsche model in India. To put things in context, the business claims that one new Porsche SUV is sold on average every day of the year. The company’s two-door sports vehicle lineup was also in high demand, accounting for a respectable 17 percent of overall sales. In addition to record deliveries, Porsche India’s order book expanded by 165 percent in 2021, resulting in the brand’s best-ever order intake. As a result, Porsche India expects a great start to the year, backed by a healthy order book and product growth.

Porsche’s Future Plans

The firm recently launched the 718 Boxster and Cayman GTS 4.0 models to its lineup, and before that, we saw the Macan facelift and the Taycan, the company’s first-ever electric vehicle. In reality, the first Taycans, which are all electric, are expected to arrive in the coming weeks. In terms of new vehicles, Porsche is preparing to unveil the GTS variants of the Taycan, the 911 GT3, the Cayenne Platinum Edition models, and the 718 Cayman GT4 RS.
