Kia Sonet is a 5 seater Compact SUV. Sonet was the first model by kia motors which became quite popular in India. Taking it forward Kia motors will unveil it’s three row Kia Sonet this month. It will go for sale in Indonesia first says source.
So what’s new with 7-seater Kia Sonet ?
As mentioned earlier, the three row Kia Sonet will be on sale in Indonesia. The 5 seater Sonet was launched in Indonesia last year in August. However it is 125 mm longer than the one sold in India. We expect the three row kia sonet will be identical to the 5 seat version. It will be intresting to see how Kia has adjusted the third row in Sonet’s compact boot. The third row may be a tight fit for two adults with a not so even boot space. Hence making us eager to know how Kia packed the three row setup. The three row Sonet will be built in kia’s Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh. Hence making it a made in india product. Kia may unveil it on 8 April 2021.

When Will it come to India ?
Kia seems to aim at the compact MPV or SUV market of Indonesia. The three row Kia Sonet will rival with models like Daihatsu Xenia and Toyota Avanza. Kia plans to get an edge over its competitors with the three-row setup of the sonet. Though made in India , Kia has no plans to launch it in the Indian market. Hence there is no news for the three row sonet to come sooner to the Indian showrooms. Though it may be launched in India lately, only time will tell.
