A 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 petrol engine powers the new Mercedes-AMG G63. It generates a powerful 585 Bhp and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. Mercedes-Benz reduced the engine’s size from the enormous 5.5-litre V8 that was offered with the previous model of the vehicle.
The new model has a 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT automatic transmission that distributes power to all four wheels. It has a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h that is electronically capped. Owners have the option to upgrade to the AMG Driver’s package, which raises the top speed to 240 km/h.
