Royal Enfield Desert Storm is one of the upscale colours available in the Classic 500 line-up. It has been enhanced by SV Stickers with their own Classic Matte Khaki wrap over the traditional desert storm colour. Since the frame, accessories, and all supporting elements are left painted in their original colours, only keen eyes will spot this two tone livery setup.
Along with other accessories, the motorcycle has been substantially customised with a special 500 name on the side panels, dual tone seat coverings, and light guards. Every movable component of the Classic 500 was preserved in perfect working order.
A 499cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 27.2 BHP at 5250 rpm and 41.3 Nm at 4000 rpm powers the motorcycle. Due to large leg protection and other equipment that consumers choose, the motorcycle weighs around 200 kg when it is in operating condition.
Dual disc brakes are now standard on the Royal Enfield Classic 500 series; the Stealth Black was the first model to include this additional safety feature. By the end of 2018, Royal Enfield is anticipated to feature ABS on every model in their lineup. If not, they must adhere to government regulations that require ABS to be a standard feature on motorcycles by April 2019.
