The basic styling, however, is expected to remain similar, with the exception of a few changes that will distinguish the EV from standard hatchback iterations. For starters, it will receive new colour options, as well as electric blue accents on trim elements and inside the cabin. The feature set will be similar to that of the standard ICE version.

Tata is also expected to introduce the new Punch EV in India following the introduction of the new Tiago EV and the Altroz EV. The new Punch EV will sit above the Tiago EV and will most likely use the same powertrain as the Tigor EV.

For those who are curious, the Tigor EV is powered by a single motor with a claimed power and torque output of 75 hp and 170 Nm. This setup is powered by a 26 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a claimed range of 306 kilometres on a single charge.

The Tata Punch EV, like the Tata Altroz EV, will receive many exterior changes that will set it apart from the standard ICE versions. The same electric blue accents will be seen on the exteriors as well as inside the cabin.
