Tata Motors Electric Car Sales
Manufacturers have so far shown little interest in electric cars in India’s mass-market EV segment. As a result, the volume pool is likely to continue to rise over time. This is due to a variety of factors, including well-defined policies, enhanced infrastructure and information, and, over time, more manufacturer participation.
With Tata Motors’ foot in the door and a lion’s share of the electric car market, early learnings could be critical in bolstering the company’s position in the face of increased competition in the years ahead. Tata Motors claims 1,751 electric vehicle sales in November 2021. This is a huge increase over the 413 units sold a year ago.
