Tata Punch Gets 5 Stars Rating At Global NCAP
Tata’s most awaited micro SUV the all-new Tata Punch is all set to go on sale from 20th October. And bookings for the new car have already begun at the dealership and online platform. But before that, the company has accidentally leaked that the Tata Punch is packed with a 5 Star Global NCAP rating. So that Tata Punch Safety is now ensured with world’s best vehicle testing agency.
Although, we know that the Punch will underpin the same ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform seen on the Altroz premium hatchback. The Tata Altorz is also the first hatchback in India to have a 5-star GNCAP rating. Since Tata Punch uses the same platform it has already been expected that the micro-SUV will have good safety ratings. But no official details are yet released but, the leaked images suggest that the car indeed has gained 5-star ratings on the global platform.
Tata Altroz is right now the cheapest car in market with Global NCAP 5 star rating that you can buy. The Tata Punch is also expected to launch somewhere around Rs.5.5 and 8 Lakh(Exshowroom). This is aslo the price bracket where Tata can target many buyers in the market. And this will aslo make it a 2nd cheapest car with 5 star rating on Tata’s portfolio as well as any Indian average Indian car.

Tata Punch Saftey Features
Tata Punch will host a tonns of saftey features which inlcudes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensor, front fog lamp with cornering function, high-speed warning alert, seatbelt reminder etc. Also it wil be intresting to see the safety features that will be availble in higher trims.
The Tata Punch will rival Mahindra KUV NXT and Maruti Suzuki Ignis in the Indain market. Also entry-level compact SUVs like Nissan Magnite and Renault Kwid will compite the new micro SUV. The Punch has a best in class bootspace of 366 litres and it measures a length of 3,827 mm, a width of 1,742 mm and stands 1,615 mm tall with a wheelbase length of 2,445 mm and the ground clearance is rated at 190 mm.
Right now tata has most number of cars with 5 star saftey raitng in each segment.

Tata Punch will be launched in India on 20th of October.
Tata Hbx or Tata Punch will be priced somewhere between 5-8 lakhs.
