In an effort to maintain the sales momentum of the Tata Punch, which recently emerged as India’s best-selling vehicle, Tata Motors plans to release the updated Punch in the marketplace shortly. The Punch redesign has been delayed by a few months, according to sources, despite the brand’s earlier announcement that it wouldn’t happen until mid-2025. Tata Punch facelift: feature
In terms of equipment, the Accomplished and Creative versions of the Punch facelift will come with a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a wireless charging pad, and C-type fast charging connections. Along with other improvements, more versions will have the sunroof as well as a revised center console and rear AC vents.
Tata Motors is also planning to reorganize their Punch variant lineup. There will be a discontinuation of trims such as the Pure Rhythm, Accomplished, Accomplished (Sunroof), and Creative flagship. Rather, there will be three: Adventure S, Adventure+ S, and Pure (O). Furthermore, the features on the current trims will be rearranged.
Tata Punch facelift: design
Though a few differences will be maintained, as with the Nexon and Nexon EV, the Punch is anticipated to take design cues from the Punch EV. Therefore, expect a drastically changed fascia with new headlamps, bumpers, and LED DRL signatures. In addition to the upgraded electronics, the interior can get new upholstery and a changed dashboard color scheme.
Tata Punch facelift: mechanical changes
The same 1.2-liter, three-cylinder gasoline engine will remain, mated to either an AMT or a 5-speed manual gearbox. There won’t be any mechanical alterations. The engine generates 113 Nm of torque and 86 horsepower. Like the current Punch, it will also be available with a CNG version, and an AMT gearbox may also be available with CNG.
Tata Punch facelift: Price
Depending on the version chosen, the projected price range for the Tata Punch facelift is between Rs. 6.00 Lakh and Rs. 11.00 Lakh.
