Test Drives For Mahindra XUV400 Started – Price Not Reveled

In September 2021, Mahindra will introduce its first electric SUV, Mahindra XUV400 Price. With the pricing and reservations set to be revealed in the next weeks, the carmaker has begun testing the Mahindra XUV400.

Mahindra XUV400 Price

The XUV400 is the electric version of the Mahindra XUV300, powered by a 39.4kWh battery pack that generates 150bhp and 310Nm of peak torque. It also boasts a 456km driving range on a single charge. According to the leaked information, the electric SUV would be available in three variants: Base, EP, and EL. We drove it and have provided a full driving assessment.

Although the external appearance of the XUV400 is identical to that of the ordinary XUV300, there are many differences. The e-SUV is longer at 4,200 metres, and it has a closed-off grille with copper accents on the bumper, side sills, and roof. The Mahindra XUV400 is available in Everest White, Napoli Black, Arctic Blue, Galaxy Grey, and Infinity Blue, with a contrast roof colour option.

Inside, a touchscreen infotainment system, a coloured multi-information display, an electric sunroof, six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, and a black motif for the leatherette upholstery look and feel familiar.

The Mahindra XUV400 is expected to start at Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). With these prices, the XUV400 will compete with the Tata Nexon EV Max, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Kona Electric.
