This feature is very useful for long drives, suited for speed conscious drivers and enables to keep the foot closer to the brake pedal for reduced stopping distance. There are numerous vehicles with cruise control feature in India, but here we have listed the most affordable cars that have cruise control.

1. Tata Altroz
Crowned as the safest hatchback in India, Tata Altroz is also the most affordable car in India to get Cruise Control. The XT and other top-end variants of Altroz are equipped with it. Altroz is a premium hatchback from Tata Motors in India. It is powered by a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated or turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both are BS6 compliant and are mated with 5-speed manual gearbox. The feature equipped variant starts at Rs. 7.13 Lakh.
2. Nissan Magnite
The next car offering cruise control is the latest car from Nissan, the Magnite. It is powered by a 1.0 litre naturally aspirated/turbo-petrol engine with the former having only a 5-speed manual gearbox, whereas the latter gets the choice of either a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The XV Premium and variants above it get cruise control and prices for these start from Rs. 7.68 Lakh.
3. Maruti Suzuki Swift
The latest 2021 update to Maruti Suzuki’s popular hatchback Swift has introduced cruise control to the model range. Four variants provide this feature and the prices start from Rs. 7.77 Lakh. Maruti has equipped the latest Swift with a 1.2 Litre DualJet Petrol engine which also powers the Dzire Facelift. The engine has the same 5-speed manual or AMT options as before.
4. Hyundai Aura
The Hyundai Aura has only one variant that offers Cruise control and that is the ‘SX Option’ petrol variant. Price for the model is Rs. 7.93 Lakh. It is powered by a 1197cc engine with manual transmission producing 81.86bhp and 113.7nm torque.
5. Honda Amaze
The latest model of Honda Amaze offers Cruise Control with a host of other features. It is available in a 1.2 Litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine, both paired with 5-speed manual transmission along with optional CVT. The pricing for the variants starts at Rs. 8.10 Lakh.
6. Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Another Maruti Suzuki on the list that offers Cruise control is the latest iteration of Dzire, its sub-compact sedan. It comes with a 1.2-litre DualJet engine producing 90PS and 113Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and gets the choice of a 5-speed AMT as well. It is the first engine offering an idle start-stop function in the segment, which makes it more efficient.
7. Volkswagen Polo
The Germans aren’t that behind. The Volkswagen Polo comes with Cruise control in four variants and the price starts at Rs. 8.34 Lakh. It comes with 1.0 litre naturally aspirated/turbo petrol engines in which the naturally aspirated engine is paired with 5-speed manual transmission and the latter can be paired with either 6-speed Manual or 6-speed Automatic Transmission.
8. Volkswagen Vento
The Volkswagen Vento also gets cruise control. Three variants offer the feature and prices start at Rs. 8.69 Lakh. The Vento comes with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 110PS power and 175Nm torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual and a six-speed AT gearbox.
9. Hyundai i20
The latest version of Hyundai i20 one of the few Hyundai cars to get cruise control in India. It provides the feature in two variants of the model. The variants are petrol-only and come with manual transmission. The price of these models starts at Rs. 9.19 Lakh. You can book a test drive or order the model via Hyundai India’s official website.
10. Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
The Last Model on the list offering cruise control is the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. In its Delta and Zeta variants priced at Rs. 9.60 Lakh and Rs. 9.95 Lakh respectively, this feature is offered. It is powered by a new BS6 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech (same as Vitara Brezza) that makes 105PS and 138Nm torque. This engine is paired to 5-speed manual gearbox. It is also the most expensive vehicle on our list to get cruise control.
