In November 2022, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno becomes the best-selling model in the country. Last month, the company sold 20,945 Baleno units, representing a 111% increase in sales year on year. MSIL had dispatched 9,931 Baleno units in the same month last year. The most significant change in the list is the introduction of the Tata Nexon, which will replace Maruti’s hatchbacks and sedans as the second best-selling model in November 2022. Tata Motors sold 15,871 Nexon units last month, a 61% increase from 9,831 units in November 2021.
The Maruti Alto, Swift, WagonR, Dzire, and Ertiga are the next five best-selling cars in India. In November 2022, MSIL sold 15663 units of Alto, 15153 units of Swift, 14720 units of WagonR, 14456 units of Dzire, and 13818 units of Ertiga. The Hyundai Creta is ranked 8th, with 13,321 units sold in November 2022, up from 10,300 units in the same month last year.
