Tata Nexon EV

Tata Nexon EV is electric version of regular Tata Nexon we have, it shares the all the body parts from the Nexon except it’s mechanicals. It is loaded with several features like automatic LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, electric sunroof, hill hold assist, climate control a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry. Nexon EV can do 0-100kmph in just 9.9 seconds, it has 30.2kWh battery producing 127bhp’s and 245 Nm of torque, the claimed range is around 312 kms on a single charge. Ex-showroom price of Nexon EV is Rs.13.99 Lakh to Rs.15.99 Lakh.

Mahindra E-Verito

The eVerito is the all-electric version of the Mahindra Verito sedan. The EV is powered by a 72V 3-phase AC Induction Motor that makes a power of 41bhp and 91Nm of torque. It is oldest amongs all the EV’s available in India. It claims a range of around 140kms on a single full charge, It takes around 12 hrs to charge with a regular charger and are 1.5hrs from a fast charger. With limited charging infrastructure and less range claims thr eVerito fits suitable for short distances or for urban usage.

Hyundai Kona Electric

Hyundai Kona Electric comes with a 39.2kWh battery that returns around 452kms of range as claimed by the ARAI. Coming to the fatures kona comes loaded with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, wireless charging for smartphones and a practical center console, push button start, electric sunroof.

It has a 39.3kWh battery with power of 134BHP and 395Nm of torque with the claimed range of 452 kms on a single battery charge. Hyundai Kona has a starting price of Rs.23.72 Lakh going up till Rs.23.91 Lakhs for the top end (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi)


The ZS is one if the best tuned EV available in India. It comes packed with a 44.5kWh battery pack that claimes range of around 419kms. The updated 2021 MG ZS EV now comes with improved ground clearance, 17-inch alloys, electric sunroof, 8 inch infotainment and multiple drive modes. The motor produces 141BHP power and 353Nm torque. The crossover EV is priced at Rs.20.99 Lakh to Rs.24.18 Lakh Ex-showroom Delhi.

Tata Tigor EV

The Tigor EV is the best if someone wants to try hands on EV for the first time, we cannot deny the fact that it is one of a decent car in the entire lot. It is powered by a 21.5kWh battery, the claimed range is around 142 kms, and it stands at 40BHP and 105Nm of torque.

Tata Motors has also confirmed that it is working on the Tigor EV with an extended range and more power. The car is priced from Rs.9.54 Lakh to Rs.9.86 Lakh Ex-showroom Delhi.
