Car Sales Report India – September 2021
In September 2021 witness a huge drop in car sales as compared to the last month. Automakers have tried there best to provide the customers with the best vehicle possible. This month of September, a total 1,85,636 units are sold. As usual Maruti Suzuki has topped the chart. Followed by Hyundai, Tata, Kia and Mahindra are in Top five selling car brand. Lets us have a look at the best selling car models this month. Below are Top 5 Selling brands in India in September 2021.

1. Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki witnessed a huge drop in car sales of the September month. Its growth dropped around 57.3 percent of Sales as compared to the last year. The company says it lost almost 40 percent of its production due to the semiconductor shortage. Although, the company sold a total of 63,111 Units this month.
2. Hyundai

Hyundai has also faced a huge drop in sales. The sales growth of the company fell by 34.2 percent as compared to the last year. Notably, Hyundai has sold 33,087 units this month. The company had also introduced its N Line model in the country.
3. Tata Motors

Tata motors had a stable month. It continued to be on the third position. It also gained the highest Market Share in September 2021. Tata sold around 25,729 units in September.
4. Kia

The Korean automaker kept up with rank four. The company witnessed 22.7 percent loss in car sales as compared to last year. The company currently holds three models in its lineup. Kia sold a total of 14,441 units in September 2021.
5. Mahindra

Mahindra and Mahindra also suffered loss in car sales this month. The sales volume dropped by 12.3 percent in Sep 2021 over Sep 2020. However, M&M 12,863 Units this month. The company has recently unrevealed its premium model the XUV 700. The company hopes to boost its sales in coming months with its all new SUV lineup.
