Toyota Innova Crysta vs Toyota Innova HyCross: Price comparison

The long-awaited Toyota Innova HyCross has finally arrived in India. The most recent MUV is offered in eight trim levels.

There are four trim levels available with the self-charging hybrid powertrain, and four trim levels with the petrol engine option.

Toyota Innova HyCross: Hybrid and Petrol variant prices

The hybrid trim levels are VX 7S, VX 8S, ZX, and ZX (O). The base VX 7S hybrid Hycross trim is priced at Rs 24 lakh ex-showroom, while the top-spec ZX(O)hybrid HyCross trim is priced at Rs 29 lakh. Toyota’s 5th-generation self-charging strong hybrid electric system with TNGA 2.0-liter 4-cylinder VVT-i engine mated to an electric motor powered by a 1.7 kWh Ni-MH battery powers the hybrid variants. E-drive sequential shift handles transmission duties. This engine produces 183.7 hp and 206 Nm of peak torque. Toyota claims that the hybrid HyCross has the best fuel economy in the segment at 23.24 km/l.

The petrol Innova HyCross trims, on the other hand, are known as the GX 8S, GX 7S, G 8S, and G7S. The base G 7S is priced at Rs 18.30 lakh, while the top-spec GX 8S is priced at Rs 19.20 lakh. The TNGA 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine in the petrol Innova HyCross produces 171.6 hp and 204 Nm of peak torque. A CVT gearbox handles transmission duties in this variant. The petrol Innova HyCross has a fuel economy rating of 16.13 km/l.

Toyota Innova Crysta: Petrol and diesel variant prices

The Innova Crysta was priced between Rs 18.09 lakh and Rs 26.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It was offered in three trim levels: GX, VX, and ZX. It was also available with both petrol and diesel engines. Although the latter was briefly discontinued in 2022.
