Toyota Innova HyCross GX model unveiled for the 2023 Auto Expo

The Toyota Hycross, a brand-new MPV that debuted in December 2022 after being previewed back in November 2022, has been eagerly anticipated. The Innova HyCross is priced between Rs 18.30 lakh and Rs 28.97 lakh by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) (all prices, ex-showroom). The GX model is being presented for the first time by the manufacturer.
In contrast to its predecessor, the new-generation model sports a FWD layout and is built on a monocoque chassis. The MPV has gotten bigger and is now 4,755mm long, 1,850mm wide, and 1,795mm tall. The wheelbase is 2,850mm long.
The 2023 Toyota Innova Hycross is completely new, with sweptback LED headlamps, a new front bumper with indicators and triangular inserts on the corners, a sleek air dam with integrated LED fog lights, and a new grille with a chrome accent dominating the front. The front doors’ Hybrid badging, new 18-inch alloy wheels, blacked-out B and C-pillars, and body cladding improve the side appearance. The model gets shark-fin antennas, integrated spoilers, wraparound two-piece LED tail lights, a new rear bumper with integrated reflectors, and a tailgate-mounted number plate recess at the back.
Inside, the new Toyota Innova Hycross will feature a panoramic sunroof, an infotainment system with a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, a nine-speaker JBL music system, a dual-tone black and brown theme, digital controls for the AC, a new steering wheel, a new instrument cluster with a colored MID, cruise control, an electronic parking brake, ambient lighting.
The Toyota HyCross’s only transmission option is a CVT. Its 2.0-liter, four-cylinder TNGA petrol engine produces 172 bhp and 187 Nm of torque. The same gasoline engine plus a hybrid motor, which generates 111 horsepower and 206 Nm of torque, is also available. An e-CVT unit is coupled with this combo. Toyota will not supply the HyCross with a manual transmission.
