Toyota Started Manufacturing Of Maruti Suzuki Swift In Ghana

Last month, Toyota began manufacturing of the Suzuki Swift in the Republic of Ghana. Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing Ghana, the brand’s subsidiary, will sell the hatchback as an SKU model in the local market (TTMG). The Ghanaian facility has an annual production capacity of 1,700 units and employs roughly 50 people.

The Swift’s SKD manufacture was conducted to deepen and expand the cooperation between Toyota and Suzuki, who signed a collaboration agreement in March 2019.

The Maruti Swift’s price was increased by up to Rs 13,000 last month, depending on the version. At the Auto Expo 2023, the company also displayed an accessorised version of the hatchback.
