Triber Based Nissan MPV Confirmed For India To Be Launch Soon
Nissan India is getting ready to introduce a new car to its lineup. The carmaker, which now only sells the Nissan Kicks and Nissan Magnite in India, will shortly develop and launch a new MPV based on the Renault Triber.
The Renault Triber was introduced in India in June 2019 and is based on the CMF-A+ platform. It is powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 71bhp and 96Nm of torque at peak. It’s paired with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit.
Nissan’s next model will be a three-row MPV with a few visual modifications to distinguish it from its DNA cousin. The MPV might get a new front grille, as well as reprofiled bumpers and new wheel covers.
The interior of the cabin might be given a new theme with various fabric upholstery. The MPV, on the other hand, will have a seven-seat configuration and amenities such as a digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system, rear aircon vents, and different storage choices.
While Nissan has not set a release date for the new MPV, we anticipate it in 2023.
