4 New Mahindra SUV Launches Planned For 2022

Mahindra & Mahindra is working on a number of new models that will be available in the next years. In 2022, the home-grown will introduce four new SUVs, including the e-KUV100, an improved Bolero and XUV300, and a new Scorpio. Here’s a rundown of the new Mahindra SUVs.

1. Mahindra e-KUV100

The Mahindra e-KUV100, which was previewed at the 2022 Auto Show, is expected to hit the road in early 2022. However, there is no official indication on when it will be released. The electric SUV is expected to cost less than Rs 10 lakh, making it India’s most cheap EV. It will be equipped with a 15.9kWh battery pack that will power a 54.4bhp and 120Nm electric motor. The e-KUV100 has a range of up to 150 kilometres. However, the corporation may release it with a larger battery capacity and a longer range.

2. 2022 Mahindra Bolero

The Mahindra Bolero 2022 is expected to debut in the coming months. The SUV will be available in new monotone and dual-tone colour choices this time around. It could gain a new Red colour with a dual-tone contrast treatment. Mist Silver, Lakeside Brown, and Diamond White paint schemes are now available on the Bolero model lineup. Its exterior and interior will remain unchanged. In fact, the 1.5L mHawk diesel engine with 75bhp and 210Nm will continue to be offered in the 2022 Mahindra Bolero, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

3.2022 Mahindra XUV300

New-Gen Mahindra Scorpio

According to rumours, the popular XUV300 compact SUV would get a mid-life facelift from the home-grown automaker. Significant improvements will be made to the model both inside and externally, as well as a more powerful engine. The new Mahindra XUV300 for 2022 could be equipped with a 1.2L T-GDI petrol engine that produces 130bhp and 230Nm, making it the most powerful vehicle in its class. There will also be options for the existing 109bhp 1.2L turbo petrol and 115bhp 1.5L CRDi diesel engines. It’s possible that it’ll get an all-black interior, new seat upholstery, an upgraded infotainment system, and rear AC vents.

4. New-Gen Mahindra Scorpio

New-Gen Mahindra Scorpio

The eagerly anticipated new-generation Mahindra Scoprio will be available in dealerships by the end of the year. Its design, proportions, and interior, as well as the engine configuration, will undergo significant revisions. The new model will be more powerful than the previous model, with 130bhp/160bhp 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol and 155bhp 2.2L turbo diesel engines. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be available. According to rumours, the SUV’s latest model will be called the ‘Mahindra Scorpio Sting’ or the ‘Mahindra ScorpioN.’
