Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars & SUV 2022
1. New-gen Baleno
Maruti Suzuki’s debut vehicle will be the Baleno in 2022. It is scheduled to debut in February 2022. The Baleno’s exterior design has been updated, and the interior has been updated as well. The engine will remain unchanged. However, a new AMT gearbox might be developed to replace the AMT.

2. Ertiga Facelift
The makeover of the Ertiga will be Maruti Suzuki’s second unveiling. It will be released in March. The outward alterations are minor, with the exception of a new grille. The torque converter automatic gearbox would be novel. Maruti Suzuki will replace its current 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. They’ve been using a 4-speed unit up until now.

3. 2022 Maruti Brezza
Maruti Suzuki has been working on a new Brezza generation. The Vitara name will be dropped from the compact SUV. Brezza will be the name of the product, and it will be available in April. It was past time for Brezza to get a significant overhaul. Both the façade and interior would be completely renovated. Furthermore, the company plans to equip the Brezza with a slew of additional features to help it compete more effectively in the compact SUV segment. Maruti Suzuki will add a CNG powerplant to the Brezza this time, which should help boost sales. The petrol engine will remain unchanged, but it will be paired with a new 6-speed automatic transmission.

4. XL6 Facelift
The XL6 is also getting a facelift from Maruti Suzuki. It is expected to debut in May or June of this year. The precise cosmetic alterations have yet to be determined. However, we anticipate larger alloy wheels, which will improve the XL6’s stance and make it appear more upmarket. The new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission would be available as well. According to speculations in the media, the XL6 could be marketed as a seven-seater this time.

5. All-new mid size SUV developed with Toyota
A mid-size SUV is also being developed by Maruti Suzuki. It is being co-developed with Toyota and will be released this year over the holiday season. It would be built on the DNGA platform developed by Toyota. It will be built at Toyota’s factory under the codename YFG. It will be equipped with a powerful hybrid powertrain. As a result, the battery would be large enough to operate the car only with electricity. Unlike the existing S-Cross, the new mid-size SUV will be laden with features, which is critical if the company wants to compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, and Kia Seltos.

6. All-new Alto 800
The manufacturer is also working on a new generation of Alto 800. It will get new styling, the front grille and the headlamps would be larger. At the rear, there would be new square tail lamps. As of now, not much is known about the new-gen Alto 800.
