Tesla has increased the price of the Tesla Model 3 in the United States, barely three weeks after a general price rise that affected all models.
This time, the Model 3’s two NCM-powered models received a price increase, but the LFP-powered version remained unchanged.
The Model 3 LR AWD now costs $55,990, up $1,500 (or 2.8 percent), while the Performance model now costs $62,990, up $1,000. (or 1.6 percent ).

Tesla Model 3:
- RWD: ($46,990)
- AWD Long Range: up $1,500 (2.8%) from $54,490 to $55,990.
- Performance: increased $1,000 (1.6%) from $61,990 to $62,990.
Because the price increase was solely applied to the two models that are equipped with NCM battery cells (high-nickel cathode), there’s a good chance it’s related to nickel costs. If this is the case, additional NCM-powered devices may experience a similar rise.
