Volkswagen India Officially unveils the New Volkswagen Taigun. Taigun plans to rival the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.

The most awaited mid-size SUV from the German manufacturer is here the all-new Taigun. Volkswagen Taigun Price, Dimensions, Interior, Specifications, and Features are officially on floors. But the first glimpse of the SUV was initially at the Auto Expo 2020 in pre-production form carved as a “Concept” at the time.
The Taigun, similar to the Skoda Kushaq, depends on Volkswagen’s MQB-A0-IN stage, intended to create vehicles, especially for India with intensely confined assembling up to 95%. It is the company’s first made-in-India for India model.
Taigun Exterior
Taigun’s Striking Exteriors includes Chrome Front Wing which adds character to the bold design of the car. Also, the signature LED tail lamps and LED headlamps with LED DRLs adds a dramatic look. It will sit on pair of 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The GT version of the Taigun comes with the bold GT badge which has some sporty touches.
Volkswagen Taigun Interior
Standard package includes digital driver cockpit, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, USB-C chargers, My Volkswagen Connect. Other features include the electric sunroof, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, big storage space, and Multi-functional leather-wrapped steering.
Volkswagen Taigun Specifications
For security things, the Taigun will come furnished with Electronic Stability Control, 6 airbags, ISOFIX secures, Hill Hold Assist, stopping sensors, and tire pressure sensors. The Taigun will offer a wheelbase of 2,651 mm, which Volkswagen cases will permit it to give a “Spacious and roomy interior”.
Taigun Engine And Transmission
The Taigun will offer two engine options a 1.0L and 1.5L TSI petrol engines. The smaller engine will offer 6-speed Automatic transmission. And the 6-speed manual transmission will be available for both a 1-liter and 1.5-liter engine option. Also, the 1.5-liter engine will offer 7-speed twin-clutch DSG.
Volkswagen Taigun Price
Costs for the Volkswagen Taigun SUV, are probably going to begin from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model. But the first-in-class GT model with the DSG programmed transmission would be around Rs 16-17 lakh (ex-display area). So this would put it directly in the terminating line of the most famous SUV in India. The Hyundai Creta, and the Kia Seltos.
