Yamaha Aerox 155 To Gets A Performance Kit In India

The Yamaha Aerox 155 scooter was debuted in India in September of last year, and it is now the sole performance-oriented scooter available in our market. The Yamaha Aerox 155 has found a lot of fans in our country thanks to its attractive look and pleasant performance, despite the fact that delivery is slow.

Because enthusiasts love to customize their vehicles, and the Aerox 155 is specifically designed for them, it was only a matter of time before a customization kit was released. Dismo Tech, based in Bengaluru, saw the changes to scooters in South-East Asian markets and was heavily influenced by them.

Performance Kit Features

The ‘M Aerox’ package features a set of USD front forks, mono-shock rear suspension, updated braking system (dual front discs, single rear disc), radial brake master cylinders, carbon-fibre rear tyre hugger, and larger tyres (120 section front, 150 section rear).

The scooter will have even better handling than the stock model thanks to updated cycle parts and better rubber. The modifications also improve the vehicle’s appearance. Aside from the changes outlined above, Dismo Tech also offers a sports seat cover, an aftermarket fuel tank (10 litres), and a keyless ignition system for the Yamaha Aerox 155.

How To Buy

Buyers who want aftermarket dual shockers for their Yamaha Aerox 155 can do so as well. The company even sells a racing throttle body and an aftermarket top-speed gear for CVT for performance enthusiasts. We’re not sure if these modifications are permitted in India, but they’re surely appealing to scooter fans.

The Yamaha Aerox 155

The Yamaha Aerox 155 is priced between Rs. 1.30 lakh and Rs. 1.32 lakh in India (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It has the same 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine as the YZF-R15, but it has been detuned to produce 15.0 PS of peak power and 13.9 Nm of maximum torque. A CVT handles transmission responsibilities here, as it does on all other scooters on the market.
