Land Rover revealed the 2023 Range Rover SV late last year, just before the holidays. The automaker unveiled a stunning and luxurious SUV, but the Carmel Edition will make it even more exclusive. This limited-edition SUV, designed by SV Bespoke, features exclusive design touches both inside and out.
Land Rover created the SUV specifically for the North American market. It intends to produce only 17, and will initially offer them to a small number of clients. The SUV has an exclusive Satin Bronze exterior colour, as well as SV-exclusive 23-inch Diamond Turned wheels in Sark Grey Gloss with Satin Bronze inserts.
Inside, the SV Signature Suite and a four-seat configuration are standard in the long-wheelbase Range Rover. It has dual-tone Liberty Blue Near-Aniline leather front seats and contrasting Caraway rear seats. SV Bespoke-branded tread plates, Carmel Edition embroidery, and other details set it apart. The interior also includes Satin White ceramic finishers and Gloss White ceramic controls. Rear passengers will have access to an electronically powered Club table, electronically deployable cupholders, and a refrigerator stocked with SV-etched Dartington Crystal glassware.
While the SUV’s appearance is improved over the standard SV, the powertrain remains unchanged. Under the hood, a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces 523 horsepower (384 kilowatts) and 553 pound-feet (749 Newton-meters) of torque.
The $345,000 price tag excludes the $1,475 destination fee, but there’s no need to be concerned about that. Land Rover will first offer the limited model to guests at its Range Rover House, the automaker’s headquarters during Monterey Car Week in California. The car comes with two custom club fits at the Titleist Performance Institute. Owners of the Carmel Edition will also receive two complete club sets. The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary will receive a portion of the proceeds from each vehicle sold by Land Rover. Land Rover has not stated when the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover SV Carmel Edition will be available for purchase.
