Suzuki Hayabusa Vs Lamborghini Aventador SVJ: Drag Race

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is one of the Aventador’s most powerful and fastest models. It’s a track-focused supercar, so it had to go on a strict diet to shed some pounds. How does it stack up against a superbike like the Suzuki Hayabusa, though?

The Suzuki Hayabusa, commonly known as the GSX-1300RR, is presently in its third iteration and will be released in 2022. When compared to its predecessor, it has lost some power while gaining some weight. But, given the level of competitiveness, does it really matter? Let’s look at the numbers to see how they differ in black and white.

The 6.5-liter V12 engine in the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ has been upgraded to produce 759 horsepower (566 kilowatts) and 531 pound-feet (720 Newton-meters) of torque, which is transmitted to all four wheels. It has a dry weight of 3,362 pounds, including air conditioning and other convenience items (1,525 kilograms). It was the fastest Aventador in the lineup before the Ultimae, with a top speed of 219 miles per hour (352 kilometres per hour).

The third-generation Hayabusa features a 1,340cc inline-four mill and comes from a lineage that was previously recognised as the quickest production bike. This engine has also been updated for this edition, producing 190 horsepower (140 kW) and 110 lb-ft (150 Nm) torque to the rear wheels. Letting go of a roof, two wheels, and a seat, the Hayabusa only weighs 582 lbs (264 kg).

It’s difficult to predict which one will win simply by looking at the data. There’s also the issue of expertise, which is crucial, especially when it comes to launching the superbike.

Can the huge Hayabusa superbike overcome the equally amazing Aventador SVJ supercar in a straight-line race with all of these factors in mind? The video at the top of this page should provide you with an answer. Let us know what you think in the comments area.
