Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Unveiled

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has introduced the Ghost Series II, more than four years after the second-generation Ghost made its premiere. With the update, the super-luxury vehicle now has a few modest design changes as well as a slew of other modifications.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II: Design

The most visible cosmetic alterations are to the car’s front appearance. The Ghost Series II features revised headlamps with a trapezoidal form and new DRL units. The front bumper has also been altered, with slightly redesigned air intakes. The tail lamps have a similar design to the pre-facelifted model, but the patterning is different. The Ghost Series II is now available in a new Mustique Blue exterior hue, which Rolls-Royce claims is named after a Caribbean island.

The Ghost Series II’s dashboard appearance and layout are mostly unchanged from the previous vehicle. However, it adds a full-length glass panel to the dashboard, displaying Rolls-Royce’s ‘Spirit’ operating system. The Ghost is now available with new Grey Stained Ash wood trim and Duality Twill upholstery. Another new optional feature is Rolls-Royce’s Placed Perforation, which refers to microscopic perforations produced in the seat leather to create unique artworks. Rear seat passengers can now connect up to two streaming devices to the rear screens and stream separately on each. Furthermore, the Ghost’s 18-speaker audio system now has an improved 1400-watt amplifier.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II: Powertrain

The Rolls-Royce Ghost continues to be driven by a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that delivers about 563 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque to the all-wheel steer, all-wheel powertrain. Choosing the Black Badge model increases power and torque by almost 29 bhp and 50 Nm.
