Aprilia India just launched the Aprilia RS457 as its newest two-wheeler for the Indian market. The Italian supersport appears to have generated quite a stir, and if you are considering purchasing one, here are a few things you should know about it.
The new Aprilia RS457 is inspired by its bigger brother, the RS660. As a result, the trademark split LED headlight with the clear visor, followed by the wide and aerodynamic tank and split seat, appear appealing. It’s available in three different colors: Prismatic Dark, Racing Stripes, and Opalescent Light.

Aprilia has loaded the RS457 with numerous goodies. Full LED illumination, ride-by-wire, three ride modes, traction control, engine maps, dual-channel ABS with anti-roll-over system, and a five-inch TFT with smartphone connectivity are all standard.
Aprilia RS457 Engine
The new Aprilia motorbike is powered by a 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. It produces 47.6bhp and 43.5Nm and is mated to a six-speed transmission. The RS457 also features a slipper clutch.
The RS457 is equipped with USD front forks and a monoshock with preload adjustment. The brakes are comprised of a 320mm front and a 220mm rear disc placed on 17-inch aluminum wheels with TVS Protorq tires. The RS457 is 175 kg in weight.

The Aprilia RS457 is priced at Rs. 4,10,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with the KTM RC 390, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and 400, and the future Yamaha YZF-R3.
