Auto Expo 2023: Tata Harrier Dark Edition Unveils
Tata Motors India confirmed its participation at the Auto Expo 2023. With the announcements and unveilings of its range of products, including special editions of current models, new CNG-powered vehicles, EVs, hydrogen fuel cells, and concepts planned for India.
The revised Dark Harrier edition has drawn a lot of interest at Tata’s display. This version is placed on top of the Dark edition and shares many of its features and aesthetics. In addition to the black paint job that is included as standard with the Dark edition, the alterations come in the shape of red highlights.
The front looks the same from the outside save from a red accent on the hexagonal part of the blacked-out grille. Everything else is unmodified and painted black, maintaining the original Dark edition concept. The addition of cameras to the ORVMs so that a 360-degree surround camera can be used is another intriguing development in this case.
Six airbags and upgraded electronic safety software with 17 capabilities are included in the revised Harrier Dark edition’s long list of safety features. It also receives an ADAS suite that includes functions like automatic emergency braking, blind spot detection, traffic sign recognition, front collision warning, rear collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane change warning, and high beam assist.
Along with the Dark edition’s basic features, this revised model’s cabin also has crimson seat bolsters and interior trim. The front centre armrest matches the colour of the door handles, which are likewise red. Additionally, a roof liner that is lit surrounds the panoramic sunroof. A new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a seven-inch instrument cluster are also included in the update.
The new Tata Harrier Dark edition’s engine and transmission options are the same as those seen in the earlier generations.
