A new boss has arrived in town. This time, it comes from Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, which wants to advance the tradition of Indian bobbers and factories building custom vehicles. This motorcycle is known as the new 2022 Jawa 42 Bobber. It is the only bike that is offered in a single-seater version and can be purchased in three colors for a starting price of Rs 2.06 lakhs.
1. About 2022 Java 42 Bobber
The Perak, the brand’s premium model, shares the same platform as the Jawa 42 Bobber.
Thus, the engine, cycle parts, and chassis are all interchangeable. The styling is the main difference, though. When compared to the dark-themed Perak, the new Jawa 42 Bobber is on the opposite end of the color spectrum. To distinguish it, the brand has also added chrome to the engine casing, headlamp cowl, and exhaust tips.
2. 2022 Java 42 Bobber Design
The Jawa 42 Bobber has a simple body, chopped fenders, a low single seat, fat tyres, and some color and flamboyance to finish it off. It has a completely new seat, handlebar, fuel tank, and round headlamp with an independent clock console.
The new fuel tank has tank pads that not only add a modern update but also provide grip while riding, as well as ergonomically carved knee recesses. The side panels and fenders are painted gloss black to make the new colors pop even more.
3. 2022 Java 42 Bobber Features
The individual clock console and carefully constructed headlamp unit on the Java 42 Bobber are modeled after the 42 but have been fine-tuned to give the front end a muscular appearance. The digital clock console’s contrasting LCD screen provides excellent accessibility from the saddle and all the essential information. The motorcycle also receives new control equipment to control these features. The lighting is LED all around.
The seat pan, padding, and upholstery on the floating seat have all been completely redesigned. Additionally, the improved ergonomics of the 42 Bobber are built on this new seat. A lot of work has gone into developing a seating position that is interesting,cozyy, and adaptable to fit specific rider preferences.
4. 2022 Java 42 Bobber Engine & Colors Availability
The Jawa 42 Bobber uses the same 334cc engine as the Jawa Perak, which has a smooth 6-speed transmission and generates 30.64PS of power and 32.74Nm of torque. There are three color options for the Jawa 42 Bobber which are – Jasper Red, Moonstone White, and Mystic Copper.
A new rider’s triangle is offered by the handlebar, new forward foot controls (foot pegs and levers), and the seat. A 2-step adjustable feature on the seat, which can be moved forward and backward following the rider’s preferences, adds versatility. The result is a more relaxed riding position that also makes you feel like riding spiritedly, which is exactly what a Bobber is designed for.
5. 2022 Java 42 Bobber Expected Pricing
The starting price for the Jawa 42 Bobber in Mysore Jawa showrooms is Rs. 2.06 lakh. In Mysore, the price of the top-tier Jawa 42 Bobber variant can reach Rs. 2.09 Lakh. For the price of the Jawa 42 Bobber base variant, the 42 Bobber EMI works out to Rs. 5,654 per month at 6%. The top competitors to the 42 Bobber are the Royal Enfield Classic 350, which is priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh, and the Honda H’ness CB350, which is priced at Rs. 1.98 lakh.
