Bentley’s Batur ‘Black Rose’ Has 3D-Printed Rose Gold Elements

Bentley has announced the Batur Black Rose, an ultra-exclusive version of the already-exclusive Batur, with only 18 vehicles created by Mulliner’s Bespoke Studio. Designed for people who enjoy rose gold, this special commission features a bespoke color scheme and design elements that stand out due to its 3D-printed gold pieces.

Bentley’s Batur: Exterior

The Batur Black Rose’s exterior is completed in a bespoke ‘Black Rose’ metallic paint designed specifically for a special customer. The upper body is finished in gloss Beluga, with satin rose gold highlights on the front grille, ‘endless bonnet line’ brightware, mirror caps, lower body package, and 22-inch tri-tone wheels. These wheels include high-performance carbon ceramic brakes with black calipers.

Bentley’s Batur: Interior

The inside features 3D-printed rose gold components. Bentley claims that 210 kilos of hallmarked 18-karat rose gold have been incorporated into different interior components, including the Drive Mode Selector, the Organ Stop vent controls on the dashboard, and a marking placed into the steering wheel. These delicate features are set against a cabin upholstered in Beluga leather and charcoal grey tweed cloth. The veneers are painted in Black Rose metallic, which matches the outside concept.

Bentley teamed with Cooksongold, a goldsmith in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, to create this special version. Every rose gold component in the Batur Black Rose is hallmarked.

While the luxury manufacturer has not given exact performance details for this edition, the Batur is powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine producing 740 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque, mated to an eight-speed double-clutch automatic transmission.
