Jimny Styled Electric SUV In Work – See Report

Suzuki, a Japanese carmaker, has disclosed its ambitions for battery electric vehicles in the Indian market. In FY2024, the business will release its first electric car for the Indian market. Suzuki has declared that it would launch six electric vehicles in our market by FY2030. Furthermore, the corporation states that by 2030, its portfolio would consist of 60% ICE cars (CNG, biogas, ethanol mixed fuel), 25% hybrid electric vehicles, and 15% battery electric vehicles.

Suzuki has also produced a teaser graphic revealing the future electric vehicle lineup for the Indian market. The teaser implies that the Fronx EV and WagonR EV would be introduced in the nation. In addition, an electric car modeled after the Suzuki Jimny is in the works. Maruti’s first EV, on the other hand, will be a mid-size SUV that will be released in 2024-25. It is said to be built on Toyota’s 27PL platform, which is a less expensive variant of the 40PL design.

The electric Suzuki Jimny is an intriguing development. Tata Motors, in addition to Maruti Suzuki, has indicated that the Sierra lifestyle SUV with an electric motor would be available in 2025. Furthermore, Mahindra will introduce a wide selection of new electric SUVs by the end of 2030. We anticipate that the Jimny EV will have multiple motors and a bigger battery pack. (Fandor.com)
