The K300 N competes with the BMW G 310 R and KTM 390 Duke, while the K300 R rivals the KTM RC 390, BMW G 310 RR and Apache RR 310.
Keeway has cut the price of the K300 N and K300 R by Rs 30,000 and Rs 54,000, respectively.
Following the price increase, the naked street bike K300 N costs Rs 2.55 lakh, while the fully-faired K300 R costs Rs 2.65 lakh. (ex-showroom).
The Keeway K300 N and K300 R were released last September. Both bikes are powered by a 292cc liquid-cooled engine and share the same platform. It generates 27.5 BHP at 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm at 7,000 rpm and is linked to a 6-speed transmission through a slipper clutch.
The bikes have a 37 mm front fork and a monoshock at the rear. ABS is provided by a single 292 mm disc in the front and a 220 mm disc at the back.
