KTM and TVS have both launched streetfighter motorcycles in India. The pricing of the new KTM 390 Duke is Rs 3.11 lakh, while the price of the TVS Apache RTR 310 ranges between Rs 2.43 lakh and Rs 2.64 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The new KTM motorcycle features a larger engine than the TVS Apache RR 310. The KTM motorcycle is powered by a larger, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 399cc engine, as well as a six-speed transmission, slipper clutch, and quick-shifter. The TVS motorbike, on the other hand, is powered by the same 312.2cc reverse-inclined, liquid-cooled engine as the TVS Apache RR 310. Both bikes have a sleek and athletic design appeal. The Apache RTR 310, on the other hand, draws inspiration from a wide range of motorcycles. The new 390 Duke, on the other hand, maintains the appearance of the second-generation model. Both motorcycles are based around a steel trellis frame and a supplementary composite cast aluminum frame.

Both bikes are well-equipped in terms of features. Cornering cruise control, climate-controlled seating, and adaptable LED headlights and taillights are all Apache RTR 310 firsts. However, the majority of segment-first features are restricted behind the BTO barrier.

KTM 390 Duke vs TVS Apache RTR 310 Engine and Powertrain Compared

The 398cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine on the 2023 KTM 390 Duke has been refined. When combined with a quick-shifting six-speed gearbox, this motor has a peak torque of 39Nm at 6,500 rpm and a peak output of 44.25bhp at 8,500 rpm.

The TVS Apache RTR 310, on the other hand, is outfitted with a 312.2cc engine and a six-speed transmission with a bi-directional quick-shifter. The TVS Apache RR 310 is powered by the same reverse-inclined engine. The engine’s maximum power is 35.11bhp at 9,700rpm and its maximum torque is 28.7Nm at 6,650rpm.

Both bikes are reasonably priced when compared to the top-tier RTR 310. The base variant of the KTM 390 Duke starts at Rs 3.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The TVS Apache RTR 310, on the other hand, is available in four different models and ranges in price from Rs 2.43 lakh to Rs 2.64 lakh (ex-showroom). It also has access to BTO kits, which cost Rs 18,000 for the Dynamic kit and Rs 22,000 for the Dynamic Pro kit. The Sepang Blue paint job is available for an extra Rs 10,000.
