Maruti Suzuki drew attention at the Auto Expo 2023 with its eVX electric concept. Surprisingly, Suzuki Corporation, Maruti’s parent firm, has also published its product roadmap for the following years. According to the regulatory filing, the business would launch its first electric car in India in the fiscal year 2024, followed by five more electric vehicles by the fiscal year 2030.
The Maruti Suzuki eVX measures 4,300mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,600mm in height. The boomerang-shaped split LED headlamps and elevated bonnet draw attention to the fascia. The electric SUV also receives a blanked-off grille and a silver skid plate to emphasize its personality.
Battery electric cars will account for 15% of the total powertrains available. The eVX EV’s side appearance is defined by prominent creases, wide wheel arches, and dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear part has slim LED taillights that span the width of the boot as well as a stylish coupe-like roofline.
