At the 2022 EICMA, QJ Motor unveiled the RX, a new electric motorcycle. The motorcycle is their entry-level model and could be the first step toward more powerful models.
The RX is now powered by a 5kW centrally mounted electric motor that can propel the motorcycle to a respectable top speed of 100kmph. The battery, on the other hand, is a 72V, 60Ah lithium-ion unit that is said to provide 120km of range on a single charge that takes about four and a half hours. These specifications would put it in competition with standard 125cc motorcycles sold around the world.
However, the QJ RX is designed to look like a much more powerful and larger motorcycle. The RX is angular as well, drawing inspiration from the sharp and edgy bodywork of modern sportbikes. Aside from the numerous cuts and creases that make it appear fast even when standing still, the RX has low clip on bars and rear set footpegs for an aggressive riding stance. In terms of features, the electric motorcycle has full-LED lighting and a full-color TFT display, which is becoming fairly standard in today’s world.
While QJ Motor says the RX will be available in international markets beginning in 2023, no specific date has been provided. QJ Motor is the parent company of Benelli and Keeway, which sell their products in India. Furthermore, QJ Motor made its debut in our country last week, so the RX electric motorcycle may come to India in the future.
