After the RV400 and RV400 BRZ, the RV1 is Revolt’s third electric motorcycle model. It comes in two variants: RV1 and RV1+.
Revolt Motors has launched the RV1, its third electric motorcycle, in India, with an introductory sticker price of Rs 84,990 for the base variation and Rs 99,990 for the higher-spec RV1+ variants. Both prices are ex-showroom. This marks the company’s continued expansion of its product line in the electric motorcycle market. The RV400 and RV400 BRZ are among Revolt’s lineup models; the e-motorcycle is now the most economical variant. There are four different color possibilities for the motorcycle.
For the RV1, Revolt chose a more straightforward street bike design that prioritizes functionality and usefulness. Starting at the front, the RV1 has a 6-inch digital LCD instrument panel and a smoked windscreen next to a circular LED headlamp. There is built-in charger storage on the motorcycle. Revolt claims that the RV1 has the longest seat in the class and a remarkable 250 kg payload carrying capacity.
The RV1 has two different powertrain options: the base version has a 2.2 kWh battery that can travel up to 100 km, while the RV1+ has a bigger 3.24 kWH battery pack that can travel up to 160 km on a full charge. Unlike the RV400, which uses a belt drive, the 2.8kW electric motor powering both battery packs sends power to the back wheel via a chain drive. The RV1+ can be fully charged in 1.5 hours and has fast-charging capability as well. Additionally, Revolt fitted the RV1 with a reverse function to facilitate maneuvering the e-motorcycle through confined parking places.
